A step back to move forward

At this point I should be in a plane, but instead, I will soon be in a car.
Many of you should be wondering why I haven't caught my plane to Slovenia. There's no crisis of love, no regrets or anything like that. On the one hand, it's just  a delay in the delivery date of our new apartment in Ljublijana and, on the other hand, I have to try to get my driving license here in Spain, so we believe that the most appropriate and economic is to delay my arrival in Slovenia till 2nd of June. So we won't have to spend almost a month in Zrece, a small village (really, really small) where Darko's parents live, and he can feel free to do whatever he wants without worrying about me and my communication problems,  (first days will be intense for him!) and I can go and get my driver's license! 
....besides there's nothing wrong with having "single-holidays" before starting a brand new life together, isn't it?;)

Open day, open heart.

We just have 2 more days here in Barcelona! I can't no believe it yet!

On saturday we celebrated an "open day" to say to all our friends "see you soon!" it was a lovely day, full of good moments.

Thank you all!! We'll miss you!!

Last days of Barcelona

En sólo 1 día vendrán a recoger toda nuestra vida metida en cajas para transportarla a Slovenia.

Así lucía nuestra habitación!

 

Y aunque el día empezó no muy bien y hubo mucho trabajo por hacer, acabó de la mejor manera posible! GRACIAS!

Y al día siguiente... PICNIC SORPRESA! =)

Darko's B-Day

Today is Darko's 28th birthday! Even I'm quite nervous with the moving stuff and all, everything stopped for the celebration.

In the morning I planned a cupcake surprise!

In my opinion, cupcakes are not too healthy, specially because of the sugar and butter, but I must say that these are the best cupcakes in Barcelona!

He already had his present: sunglasses very Barcelona style

But another small present is always welcome!

Hace bastante tiempo que no posteo nada. He estado completamente inmersa en tooooodas esas cosas que hay que hacer para cambiarse de país (y la cosa va en aumento) pero, a pesar de todas las obligaciones, también encuentro cosas positivas, sin ir más lejos, el tener tiempo para ir a comprar y cocinar cosas ricas!
